Since bursting onto
the international
scene a few years
ago, Aussie larrikin
Harry Bink is making
huge waves in FMX.
The scariest thing?
This shredder is just
getting started.
A
couple of years ago,
a dark-haired kid with a
thick Australian accent, an
infectious smile and silky-
smooth riding style suddenly appeared
on the world scene, armed with one of
the toughest tricks in the business: the
Rock Solid Backflip.

While many people were blindsided
by his dramatic rise to fame and glory,
Aussies weren’t at all surprised that
Harry Bink had made the big-time. He’s
got a work ethic second-to-none, an
insane amount of natural skill and style
on a bike, an ability to bounce back to
his feet from the meatiest crashes, a
level head on his shoulders and a liver
that can seemingly process alcohol at
record speeds. All those factors make
for a pretty winning combination in
freestyle, and since his dramatic second
place finish at the 2016 Nitro World
Games, “Haz” keeps on hitting his straps
and proving he isn’t a one-trick pony.
Sure, he’s become a master of
consistency with the Rocky Flip, but
in 2017 he added Double Flips and
incredibly rode away from that brain-
melting Rocky Front Flip at the 2017
Nitro World Games.
The sport continues to evolve so rapidly
that many riders are chasing their tails
trying to keep up, but Harry isn’t trying
to keep up with that evolution… he is the
evolution.
We caught up with the likeable Gold
Coaster as he wrapped up a massive
year of competitions and tours to find
out a bit more about the young phenom
that is Harry Bink. u
