Welcomeback...
F
IRSTLY, ON BEHALF OF the team here at FreestyleXtreme, I
would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank-you
to everyone who gave us such positive feedback on issue
no.1 of this magazine. The response we’ve received has been
outstanding and it’s motivated us more than ever to make
the best moto/action sports magazine in the world. To help us get
closer to our goal we have added forty more pages to this issue!
Not only that, but from now on we will be printing a further 5,000
copies per issue, meaning a total of 15,000 lucky customers will
receive a free magazine with their FsX orders!
Summer is officially here in Europe, which means both riding and
partying are in full swing! The summer months are pretty much
peak season for FMX and action sports demos; nowadays there
are more local demos and contests going on than you might think.
So if you want to get your fill of live adrenaline-fuelled action in the
sun, be sure to ask around and get yourself to a local event.
It’s been a hectic few months since the first issue was published,
but that doesn’t mean we haven’t managed to get some good
riding in as well. I was recently lucky enough to get to ride at one of
my new all-time favourite riding spots – Royal Hills in France. You’ll
be able to read the full ‘Spot Check’ feature in the next issue, but
believe me when I say: “This place is dirt bike heaven!” Needless
to say our crew came back in a few more pieces than we went out
in, but when we left everyone was still grinning from ear to ear and
absolutely buzzing off the trip.
Don’t worry though, we were still back in time to fill this issue
with an insane amount of banging content, including three of the
biggest FMX events of the year: the Freestyle of Nations, X-Fighters
Osaka and X Games! We hope you enjoy this issue as much as the
first one, and don’t forget to get involved in our ‘How do you read
yours?’ competition which you’ll find towards the back of the mag
- If your picture is chosen, you might end up with your mug next
to the likes of Travis, Bilko, Ken Block or the Metal Mulisha – Good
luck!
Ride on
