Eugene Laverty With the end of his second year in MotoGP approaching, Pull & Bear Aspar Team rider Eugene Laverty sat down with a regular contributor of ours, who just happens to be his brother Michael, to chat about his progress in the sport and where he goes from here. It’s been above expectations - especially when you take into consideration the level of equipment at your disposal and how touch your debut year was. You’re the most improved rider of the season for sure! Eugene: Yeah, considering how pre-season testing went - it couldn’t have gone much worse! I got injured in November at Jerez and then on the first day back in February at Jerez I got injured again. I went into the first round basically last, I was the slowest guy out there.
