Originally Block bought this car to do stage rallies, but at that point he was still driving for Subaru. “Subaru let me buy this old Ford because it didn’t really compete with their latest model,” he explained. “So I bought it with the occasional rear-wheel-drive stage rally in mind, but unfortunately the one I bought was more of a light tarmac build, and just not strong enough to race on gravel.
