Australia is the

The podium at the final round in the
UAE was a complete clean sweep for
the Aussie contingent. Josh Sheehan,
Rob Adelberg and Clinton Moore stood
tall on top of the box after riding their
hearts out.
“I stuck all my tricks and was pumped
about my riding” said Adelberg. “To
get second place, I am super stoked. I
had a really good year and am happy
about it.”

But it’s not just the guys at the top,
who are impressing everyone either.
Earlier in the season, we also saw
an Australian wildcard rider by the
name of Harry Bink make a debut
performance at X-Fighters Mexico.
Bink is one of many insanely talented
and super hungry up-and-coming
Aussie riders, and even though he
is still pretty young, he has already
mastered some of the biggest tricks in
the game like the Rock Solid Backflip.
Gone are the glory days of Ronnie
Renner, “Mad” Mike Jones, Nate
Adams, Todd Potter or Travis Pastrana
winning a Red Bull X-Fighters contest,
and to be honest, we’re struggling
to even remember the last time an
American properly challenged for the
podium.

Adam Jones has been doing a great
job of representing the Americans
on the tour, with his unbelievably
technical tricks and all-round dope
style, but without body varials, spins
or quarter pipe tricks, I think it’s fair
to say it is unlikely we will be seeing
Jones on the top of the podium any
time soon. We haven’t heard any
rumours of an American up-and-comer
for a long time, and for now it looks
like the Aussies are set to dominate
competitive FMX for some years to
come. T
