A little story never hurt anyone... ‘You deserve the best” When putting together an outfit it always tends to be specific to whatever type of mood you’re in at that specific time. I don’t know about you, but personally, if I’m feeling a little down in the dumps I tend to edge towards more darker clothing, and when I’m feeling happy and content my choices change, and brighter/lighter coloured garments tend to get pulled out of my wardrobe. Moods can change in an instant, and outfit choices tend to reflect whatever you’re feeling that day. During the final year of school, everybody was stressed due to their last minute GCSE’s and panic spread across the entire year group. It wasn’t just our exams we were all nervous about really, our final year prom was fast approaching, and deciding what to wear was just an absolute nightmare. All the girls were throwing strops every other day about how someone else in the year group has purchased the dress they wanted to wear, and as usual, the boys were just riding through life picking up the first suit that caught their eye in TOPMAN. It always feels like men have much more of an ‘easy life’ shall we say, when it comes to fashion, us women have a lot more to take into consideration, and at prom especially, you want to look the best you’ve ever looked. I always knew it was going to be a nightmare trying to find the perfect dress, as I wasn’t particularly a ‘dressy’
