T he 2019 Freedom Fest Celebration will feature several hours of great live music throughout the two days of events in Morgan Hill . The music begins , as always at 6 pm on July 3rd with the Patriotic Sing , featuring songs of our country sung by local children . Led by Musical Director , Karen Crane , local schoolchildren of all ages will be singing songs of our country and paying tribute to our active military and veterans . This event is held at the Morgan Hill Downtown Amphitheater .
The 2021 Family Music Fest is at its traditional location on Monterey Road in downtown Morgan Hill . The music will begin on July 3rd at 7 pm with a salute to our veterans from VFW Post 6309 , and the National Anthem performed by Alison Turner . The Patriotic Sing participants return for a cameo appearance .
At the 3rd Street Stage , live music for the Street Dance will be provided by The Recurrents , a Bay Area band known for their versatility in

On 2nd Street , DJ E-Poki TM , member and alumni of “ Scratch DJ Academy , will keep everyone dancing throughout the night .
This year ’ s Fireworks Show will be held for the 8th time at the Morgan Hill Sports Center on Condit Road between Tennant and Dunne Avenues and will begin at 5 pm on the 4th . Gates will open at 3 pm .
We are excited to bring two headline acts to our line-up this year and have added a third group to open . Perennial favorites — the Usual Suspects will be joined by The Country Cougars , Cook and Fenny and our beloved Patriotic Singers ! The show starts at 5 pm and goes through until the fi reworks start at 9:45 pm . That ’ s over four hours of live music !
Alison Turner
South County native , and now Nashville resident , Alison Turner is a girl on a mission . Moving to Nashville at the age of 17 , she set out to begin to pave a path for herself in the country music industry . Having years of performance experience , she has performed many venues including the California Music Festival , Boots and Brews , and she has performed solos and group sets at local concerts . Alison ’ s debut single , ‘ Don ’ t Wanna Be Friends ’ - released on April 10 , 2021 - is the perfect track to add to your summer playlist .
Country Cougars
The Country Cougars are a hot rockin ’ country band playing new and classic country and quickly becoming one of Northern California ’ s favorite bands . The Country Cougars play at some of the premier nightclubs in the bay area . They cover artists including Miranda Lambert , Little Big Town , Luke Bryan , Zac Brown , Kenny Chesney and Eric Church as well as the country legends Johnny Cash , Patty Loveless , Alan Jackson , Brooks and Dunn and many others . The energy of this band gets the crowd on their feet dancing and ready to party !
