No On-site Registration Car Cruise 9:15 am Car Show After Parade
Nothing inspires memories of the past more than the sights and sounds of classic cars . We all have a memory or stories of cars from our childhood- that favorite car that we drove to the diner or the drive-in movie . This past year when all our celebrations had to be held at a distance , countless car owners made time to participate in drive-by celebrations for birthdays , graduations , births and more . It might not seem like classic heroism but helping someone celebrate a life event with something they love is heroic . We have heard numerous stories of the joy that people received when they got to watch these cars drive by their front yard . During a tough time , sharing something you love with strangers to make sure they have a special day is what makes our neighborhood and this country so special . Now they get to share these cars with our entire community as we bring back our classic Fest Cruise n ’ Car Show .
At 9:15 am we will kick off the 4th of July parade with over 120 classic , hot rod , and muscle cars that will ‘ cruise ’ the parade route . These cars are owned , restored and cherished by local community members- maybe your neighbor ! Watch for the vehicles that go back to the 1910s , 20s and 30s , some from companies that no longer exist !
This year the car cruise will fi nish along beautiful downtown Monterey Road . After the parade completes , come to downtown to admire the cars up close and talk to some of the owners . Ask what it took to restore or just the story behind these cars , every one of them has a story to tell . The cars will be on display until 2pm . Awards will be presented for both parade entries and car show participants at 12:30 . While you are there , grab a bite to eat or a drink at one of our local downtown restaurants .
Be sure to get your place on the parade route early , get your cameras ready and enjoy the 2021 Fest Cruise n ’ Car show .
