For the 146th consecutive year , Freedom Fest is proud to bring to Morgan Hill the celebration of the birth of these United States ! Our events include the Children ’ s Patriotic Sing , Family Music Fest , Freedom Run , Parade , Car Cruise and culminating with the spectacular concerts and Fireworks on the Green .
Last year we celebrated virtually due to Covid , and this year we are looking forward to seeing all of you IN PERSON for our traditional two-day celebration – BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP .
It costs roughly $ 150,000 and takes more than 500 volunteers each year to organize and produce the July 4th celebrations . We rely ENTIRELY on community members and local businesses to fund this special day for our community and our country as we are a non-profit all volunteer event .
This past year has been incredibly hard on our local businesses , many of whom had to close or lay off staff due to Covid and thus IF WE ARE TO HAVE THIS CELEBRATION IN 2021 WE NEED OUR RESIDENTS TO HELP to keep this tradition strong for the entire community .
