Metropolitan Police Bureau chief Lt Gen. Khamronwit Thoopkrachang has come under fire for
visiting Hong Kong to meet ousted prime minister Thaksin. Thaksin arrived from Singapore and
has been in Hong Kong since Wednesday.
Is Lt Gen Khamronwit handcuffing Thaksin? Of course Not. Are you Crazy! He is giving him
acupuncture in a wine shop.
Funny, Sad or Realistic. A top senior police officer, who is duty-bound to enforce the law,
serving a fugitive from justice.
What is the big deal ! It’s not the first time. A Few months before Yingluck Shinawatra became
prime minister in 2011, Thaksin Shinawatra, had a meeting with the crown prince of Thailand,
Maha Vajiralongkorn in southern Germany’s Alpine foothills, Bavaria. so the Thai Prince was
meeting with a fugitive from justice too.
Who forgets Thaksin gift to the crown prince in early 2001: a Maybach luxury car worth 22
million baht, which was subsequently integrated into the royal fleet.
