Question: When did you develop an interest in acting?

Answer: When I was a child I knew I wanted to be an actor. At first it was for the fame, I had posters of pretty girls on my walls and I wanted to be known like that. It all seemed so distant to me, I never grew up around the movie industry, but I wanted to be a part of it. I also wanted to impress my girlfirend Jasmine,. she was supposed to kiss anoher guy for our school play and I was jealous, so I auditioned.

Question: What made you decide to go back to school and pursue things outside of acting?

Answer: Acting was my only professional outlet so I put a ton of pressure on my performances. I tried to control things that were out of my control as an actor. I overstepped my bounds; I’d try to direct a few scenes because I felt I knew how to direct it better than the director himself. Going back to school made me a million times happier and it opened up more projects and opportunities. It takes off a lot of the pressure.
