Patent Hareketi kapsamında bir çatı altında buluştuğumuz sanayici
işadamları, üniversiteler, akademisyenler, dernekler ve sivil toplum
kuruluşları ile birlikte sürdürdüğümüz üretime teşvik, üretilen ürün için patent veya faydalı model tescili alma, markalaşma gibi bilinçlendirme çalışmalarımız hızla devam ediyor. Öncelikle bu harekette yanımızda olan, başta reklamasyon çalışmalarımıza katkıda
bulunan İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi olmak
üzere tüm paydaşlarımıza teşekkürleri bir borç
bilirim.
Bilindiği gibi 26 Nisan tüm dünyada Dünya
Fikri Mülkiyet Günü olarak anılmakta ve her
yıl belirlenen tema çerçevesinde çeşitli etkinlikler düzenlenip, farkındalık çalışmaları
yapılmaktadır. Özellikle gelişmiş toplumlarda
26 Nisan, medyanın ve genel anlamıyla üreten
herkesin, üretime teşvik etmek ve Fikri ve Sınai Haklar konusunda bilinçlenmek amacıyla
ortak paydada buluştuğu bir gün olarak da
nitelendirilebilir.
Biz de Türkiye Patent Hareketi olarak, 2000
yılından bu yana faaliyet gösterdiğimiz bu
alanda gerekli çalışmaları yaptığımızı gönül
rahatlığıyla söyleyebiliriz. Ancak patent sayılarının Türkiye’de istenen sayılara hala ulaşamamış olması ortak bilinçle hareket edemediğimizin göstergesidir.
Ülkemizde gereken önemin verilmediği Fikri ve Sınai Haklardan, dünyanın süper güç diye
adlandırdığı ülkelerin milyarlarca dolar kazandığı gerçeği hala görmezden gelinirken, kalkınmanın yalnızca eşsiz ve katma değerli olanını üretip, ortaya konulan bu ürünün başka
kişiler tarafından üretilmesini engelleyerek ülkeye fayda sağlanacağı da artık tartışmasız
bir gerçektir. Durum böyleyken niçin hala bu duyarlılığı göstermediğimizi ve patent sayımızdaki artışın hala stabil durumda ilerlediğini size özetlemek istiyorum:
1- Medyanın bu konuya duyarsızlığı: Kişilerin özellikle haber ve aktüalite programları sayesinde bilinçlendiği göz önüne alındığında bu tip konuların herkesin gündemine girmesi için
medyada sık sık yer verilmesi gerekmektedir.
2-Üniversiteler patent fakiri: Bugün dünyaca ünlü üniversitelerde yer alan patent alma
zorunluluğu ve sanayicilerle yaptıkları çözüm ortaklığı sayesinde hem kazandıkları paralar döner sermayeye ciddi bir katkıda bulunmakta hem de inovasyon için yeni kaynaklar
oluşturulmaktadır.
3-Patent Kanunu’nun olmaması: Türkiye’nin şu an yaşadığı en bahtsız durumdur. Torba

the roof of the Turkish Patent Movement we meet with industrialists,
business men, universities, academics, associations and civic
movement groups. We smooth the path of ongoing productions, for the utility model
registrations, help them with branding awareness and with model registrations.
We work constantly in this field. First of all I would like to thank the Istanbul City
Municipality and all the people who were at our sides,
especially on the subject of Redress.
As we are aware on April 26th the whole world
celebrates the World Intellectual Property Day.
Various activities and awareness studies are
conducted with a chosen team. Especially in the
developed societies, the press and in a general
sense everyone who produces work to promote
awareness of the Intellectual Property Rights, meet
at a common denominator. We in Türkiye have also
been active in this field. Since the 2000 opening
of PATENT TÜRKİYE, I can say with great peace of
mind that we most certainly effect all the necessary
work. However, the fact remains that the number
of patents held in Türkiye has still not reached a
suitable quantity. In our country public awareness of
this problem is not enough. Importance has not been
given to Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights.
We still ignore the fact that the worlds so called super
powers earn billions of dollars from this. Development
is by producing only unique and value added products. Then protecting this product
from being produced by other people. Then it becomes an indisputable fact that we
would gain for our country. I would like to summarize as to why it still is as it is and
why the number of patents is still unsatisfactory. Also why we appear to be unaware
of this situation:
1- The Media is insensitive to this issue: Actuality and current affairs programs
should constantly ensure that these problems be brought to the public attention.
2- Universities are patent poor: Today throughout the world famous universities are
obliged to obtain a patent. The partnerships they form with Industrialists allow them
to earn money for the universities working capital thus effect innovations.
3- The leak of the Law Patents: Türkiye is in a sad spot as it waits for the “sack law” to
be passed. Since May 2013 this law is pending legislation in parliament. At the same
time mistrust of the registration certificate is increasing. The absence of criminal
sanctions in the present law makes that law disreputable. As it does not provide
adequate protection. Only the law of redress applies, it does not have fines therefore
it does not supply enough protection. So it is disreputable.
