“Fragrance has a
unique ability to elicit
emotional reactions”
What are you most passionate
about regarding the fragrance
industry?
Fragrance has a unique ability to elicit emotional reactions.
It also touches most people every single day of their lives.
In addition, the desire for great smells and to mask or
inhibit unpleasant aromas goes back to ancient history.
Working in an industry that provides happiness to people
on a daily basis is really rewarding. I think Oliver Wendell
Holmes, Sr. put it well, “Memories, imagination, old
sentiments, and associations are more readily reached
through the sense of smell than through any other channel.”
