A few key projects and deliverables for 2019 include: • The Fragrance Conservatory website: Steered by an Interested Party Group of Fragrance Creators members, The Fragrance Conservatory website is a consumer-facing digital home for informa- tion directly supporting ingredients subject to disclosure under the Cleaning Product Right to Know Act of 2017 (California SB 258). This engaging, inviting learn- ing space provides critical information and context about perfumery, fragrance ‘‘ ingredients, fragrance safety, and much more. The group will begin beta testing in Summer 2019, with a full launch of the site in late 2019. Thank you to the Fragrance Creators member companies supporting this effort: o Arylessence o Bell Flavors & Fragrances o Citrus & Allied Essences o Chanel o The Clorox Company o Firmenich o International Flavors & Fragrances o Johnson & Johnson o Procter & Gamble o Revlon o Robertet USA o SC Johnson o Takasago International Corporation (USA) • Sharing content about the Impor- tance and Benefits of Fragrance: As part of Fragrance Creators’ expanded program, the newly established Importance and Benefits of Fragrance Committee (IBFC) is generating information, stories, and findings on the positive aspects fragrance and scent bring to our lives. The IBFC is building a repository of information to be used by the Communications Executive Committee to develop collateral to educate a variety of audiences and endpoints. • Launch of Fragrance Creators’ Advisory Board: Fragrance Creators is engaging senior-level executives from a variety of industries to form an Advisory Board that will provide strategic advice to Fragrance Creators’ Board of Directors and the association. We know that U.S. fragrance industry stakeholders and partners offer tremen- dous insights and business acumen that can greatly advance the economic suc- cess of our industry in the areas of in- novation, consumer and retail insights, and more. The Advisory Board is also opportunity to educate and develop influential advocates in these sectors that directly and indirectly impact the fragrance industry. Without a doubt, the individuals who make up the fragrance industry are brave, determined, and impassioned—from the perfumers working creatively to address the needs of 21st century consumers, to chemists pioneering cleaner, greener new chemistry. And anyone close to the fragrance industry knows we are not only strong collabora- tors, but we are also individuals who strive to do good—in our daily lives, in our com- munities, and in our world. So, in 2019, Fragrance Creators will continue to build the influence we’ve generated by focusing on building trust with key audiences and sharing high-qual- ity information about fragrance, as well as further elevating, integrating, and driving global alignment of our technical and regu- latory efforts.
