A few key projects and deliverables for
2019 include:
• The Fragrance Conservatory
website: Steered by an Interested Party
Group of Fragrance Creators members,
The Fragrance Conservatory website is a
consumer-facing digital home for informa-
tion directly supporting ingredients subject
to disclosure under the Cleaning Product

ing space provides critical information
and context about perfumery, fragrance
‘‘

more. The group will begin beta testing in
Summer 2019, with a full launch of the site

tance and Benefits of Fragrance: As part
of Fragrance Creators’ expanded program,
the newly established Importance and
Benefits of Fragrance Committee (IBFC)
is generating information, stories, and
findings on the positive aspects fragrance
and scent bring to our lives. The IBFC is
building a repository of information to be
used by the Communications Executive
Committee to develop collateral to educate
a variety of audiences and endpoints.
• Launch of Fragrance Creators’
Advisory Board: Fragrance Creators
is engaging senior-level executives
from a variety of industries to form
an Advisory Board that will provide

can greatly advance the economic suc-

and more. The Advisory Board is also
opportunity to educate and develop
influential advocates in these sectors

fragrance industry.

bers, who give tirelessly of your time
and talents to help us develop and
advance our mission of promoting the
power of fragrance—beyond all fron-
tiers and cultures—to uplift lives.

With grit and grace, we work like the obsessed

‘‘
hardship or danger,” by Merriam-Web-
ster. Without a doubt, the individuals who
make up the fragrance industry are brave,
determined, and impassioned—from the
perfumers working creatively to address
the needs of 21st century consumers, to
chemists pioneering cleaner, greener new
chemistry. Grace is “a special favor or
virtue—unmerited divine assistance freely
given,” or a disposition of generosity and
kindness, according to Merriam-Webster.
And anyone close to the fragrance industry
knows we are not only strong collabora-
tors, but we are also individuals who strive
to do good—in our daily lives, in our com-
munities, and in our world. With grit and
grace, we work like the obsessed entrepre-
neurs we are to increase our influence and
advocate for policies and platforms that are
good for people, perfume, and the planet.
So, in 2019, Fragrance Creators will
continue to build the influence we’ve
generated by focusing on building trust
with key audiences and sharing high-qual-
ity information about fragrance, as well as
further elevating, integrating, and driving
global alignment of our technical and regu-
latory efforts.
