This photo shoot featured the five headline pieces of the Alpha Romeo Young Designer Award finalists; Alexandra Heath, Courtney Blades, George Jenkins & Luke Archer, Katya Encheva and Matthew Obrienbw
The location was down by the beach, with the ocean and sand dunes providing a scenic backdrop.
We wanted to create the perfect scene for each dress, as they were all different and unique. Hair and makeup was planned accordingly for each look as some dresses were more edgy and sharp whilst others more soft and dreamy. Different types of fishtail braids were a subtle reoccurring theme with the hair, with small braids incorporated into the side of ponytails or across the hairline as seen on Nina in the matthew obrien dress.
We incorporated the Alpha Romeo Mito and Giulietta into each photograph in different ways, connecting the brand to the designs.
The shots aimed to highlight the interesting aspects of each headline design and we also tried to maintain a dramatic feel to each photograph, in line with our creative vision.
