For applications with a constant cover dimension over the length of the rebar, the temperature in the concrete will be the same over the entire length of the embedded portion of the postinstalled rebar. Figure 1 below shows an example of a roof slab extension with fire exposure on one side and the associated temperature distribution over the bond length of the of the postinstalled rebar.
