One Child . One Year . A Lifetime of Education
Hoste Hainse is a non- profit non-governmental organization ( NGO ) that has been catering to sustainable community development through education for the last 30 + years for unprivileged children across rural Nepal , where poverty levels are high and education penetration low . Hoste Hainse ’ s education programs are primarily funded via doantions , along with sustainable funraisers spanning both income generation programs which currently include fish farming and milk delivery , as well as eco-friendly endeavors such as recycling , which now cover about 15 % of the total budget . Hoste Hainse is a member of both the United Nations Global Compact as well as IUCN ( International Union for Conservation of Naure ).
Via Project 3K , Hoste Hainse provides people the opportunity to send a child in need to one of Hoste Hainse ’ s non-profit , free-for-all community schools in Sarlahi , Province 2 for only NPR 3,000 ( USD 30 ) per year . With Sarlahi ’ s literacy rate hovering only around 50 %, even one year of education can change the lives of these children . As a sponsor , you will maintain a special connection with your sponsored child / ren-receiving their photos and progress reports each year .
