I was inspired to write this like I’m poetic, but I’m desirable. I can make a song start wack and you’ll end up loving it. I bet if I say this, you’ll be like, “what is she sayin’.” My name is lil Jay & I’m from the hood cage. Running around with guns, I never held one. At least I’m being honest and not like a hood rat. Was that corny? I bet it was. I almost blew my brains out, in the inside, it turned out. I don’t even know if I can remember this, I’m taking this page out. I wrote a hundred songs talking about love, I never even felt. I’m being honest with you right now, girl I’m not being selfish. You see how I turned it? Say you love it. Say you love it. If I kissed you right now I bet you’ll love it. And, I’m making movements. The spirits are content because I’m moving. Your love is so strong, I can’t refuse it. You remember how I started this song, you thought I was losing. I waited this whole time to hit the right rhymes You see how I jumped it? I can do it anytime. And my voice, you can hear it in the worst of times. And, when you need love, listen. And when you need love, look on the other side I can bring you heat, when you’re standing outside only with a porch light And you’re the flames to my fire, the stars to my night. Unlike other people, I won’t leave you locked in the basement over time. Figuratively speaking, I’m a blonde. But here, take this. It’s my heart. Promise me you’ll never break it
