Joel Meyerowitz | får prestisjetung pris
Den amerikanske fotografen Joel Meyerowitz( f. 1938) mottar æresprisen Outstanding Contribution to Photography under Sony World Photography Awards 2026.

Den prestisjetunge prisen er tidligere delt ut til blant annet William Eggleston( 2013), Mary Ellen Mark( 2014), Martin Parr( 2017), Graciela Iturbide( 2021), Edward Burtynsky( 2022), Sebastião Salgado( 2024) og Susan Meiselas( 2025).
Hvert år deles prisen ut i forbindelse med at premievinnerne i den store konkurransen Sony World Photography Awards kunngjøres i London, og følges av en stor utstilling i Somerset House.
