Forward Wakeboard Magazine Edition 2 | Page 5

Welcome back, it’s been a tricky few months to say the least largely due to being located in the middle of Christchurch. Thanks to all the readers for your support. Edition 1 went down really well, the feedback was better than I could have anticipated. We had nearly 500 unique views within the first 72 hours of launch and over 1000 by the end of February, just 16 days after the initial launch. This is a hugely positive start for Forward Wakeboard Magazine, so thanks for all of your help getting the word out there. You can look forward to bigger and better things on the way! Editorial You’ll notice the addition of advertising in this edition, I want to take the opportunity to thank those advertisers that have jumped on board at this early stage, your input allows the magazine to keep running, and pay the bills, of which there are many! If you’re looking to advertise, then flick me an e-mail and I will point you towards our Media Kit. Earthquake aside, it has been an exciting few months for the wakeboard scene in NZ. We have had quite a few competitions, including the first Forward Wake organised event - Monster Energy Cable Vs Wake Battle. This was a great sucess and has a full write up in this months edition. Thanks to those that have submitted articles and photo’s, you will notice quite a few new contributors including Logan Collier who grasped exactly what we were after with his ‘Inside Out’ shoot and article. I’m just about to disappear to Malaysia for a few weeks, but will crack on with Edition 3 when I return, ready for a winter release. If you’ve got something we should be including send me an email - [email protected] Enjoy- Luke Thomas Editor FORWARD Wakeboard Forward Wakeboard is a new online only wakeboard magazine.
