The ‘West Coast Rider’ (USA) has launched another wakeboard brand. Phalanx’s stuff is looking pretty special. Details are fairly sparse at the moment, but we have heard they are going into production at the moment, and there will be some demo boards here in New Zealand very soon (if they aren’t already here!). 77-Eighty Four are distributing here in NZ so check them out at their web-page. Details on the ‘Friends’ page of our website. - UPDATE! We have just taken reciept of 2 of Phalanx new boards, I’ll be trying these out over the next few weeks, and get a full write up for edition 2. Wake-Tours have just set up down on Lake Wakatipu. They’ve got a 2006 Malibu Wakesetter, and are running out of O’Regans Wharf in Queenstown. If you’re down that way then look them up for a ride. We have been hearing they have sold up to a European company, leaving some of their riders without a board sponsor, but we aren’t sure what this is going to mean for the 2011 and 2012 board range. - Updated, just seen a 2011 range appear on the site. The plot thickens and Jeff is now signed to Liquid Force In Transit It looks like Sideswipe productions are getting pretty close to the competion of their new flick, ‘In Transit’. A new trailer has gone out, check it out via the ‘Media’ section of our site. Looking forward to seeing the final edit! 2011 IWWF WORLDS The 2011 IWWF World’s have just been announced in Kuching, Malaysian Borneo. Should be a great event to compete in. The grounds look like paradise, beer is cheap, looks like a nice holiday to us. We’ll keep an eye out for news and some photo’s of this.
