Head of the River Congratulations to our Guildford Grammar School Boys ’ Rowing crews and their efforts at the Head of the River on 20 March . Their tenacity and performance in hot and challenging conditions were impressive .
Guildford Grammar School came fourth overall in the competition for the Hamer Cup , showing excellent depth and strength in our crews from Year 9 to 12 . We recognise the excellent effort of the First VIII in achieving third in their race .
It was also wonderful to observe the outstanding support from the wider Guildford Grammar community , with many parents , staff , students , Old Guildfordians and current and past GRA members attending the event at Champion Lakes in great spirit and full voice .
Girls Senior Football The Guildford Grammar School Girls Senior Football team played their inaugural home fixture in May , achieving a 35-27 point win against La Salle College . A special mention to Abbygail Bushby ( 11Be ) who scored our first ever goal at home , and the whole team led by First Captain , Ella George ( 12Be ).
This win marked an incredible milestone in the Football program at Guildford Grammar School , as it was the first time where both boys and girls teams were able to represent our School playing on Roberts Oval .
