Hair today , gone tomorrow all for a great cause !
There has been a dramatic decrease in the amount of hair being worn by our students across the School , following the recent World ’ s Greatest Shave events in the Senior and Preparatory Schools , in support of the Leukaemia Foundation .
A large number of students and staff passionately supported the events by shaving or colouring their hair , or donating in some cases up to 40cm in length to go towards the production of wigs .
With over $ 52,000 raised in the Senior School and $ 38,000 in the Preparatory School , we have proudly contributed over $ 90,000 towards the Leukaemia Foundation this year .
Thank you to everyone in our school community for getting involved and backing our students to show that they can make a difference as they look beyond our gates to the needs of others in our society .

The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national charity dedicated to helping more Australians with leukaemia , lymphoma , myeloma and related disorders survive their blood cancer and live a better quality of life .
By being a caped crusader and raising money through the World ’ s Greatest Shave , you can make a difference by giving families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need .
You will also fund vital research to help more people survive blood cancers like lymphoma , leukaemia and myeloma , while improving their quality of life .
