Children are curious learners and have so many questions about the world around them . They ask them without hesitation or filter and will ask many more to get an answer or explanation with great perseverance .
Children learn best through personal experiences and when guidance and scaffolding is provided embracing and answering their questions . One question leads to another and another and the ‘ why , why , but why ?’ becomes an exciting , authentic platform for teaching and learning .
In our Early Learning program we encourage our children to keep asking ‘ how and why ’ about the world around them , using these questions as opportunities for conversations and deep thinking , creating a meaningful context for them to apply their developing literacy , numeracy and inquiry skills .
We are passionate about creating a learning environment where children are encouraged to be courageous risk-takers , creative thinkers and empowered learners , through positive , hands-on experiences . We strive to foster curiosity , wonder and discovery using developmentally appropriate practices .
