Netball clinic

Some our girls attended a netball clinic in April at the State Netball Centre , where they watched a West Coast Fever training session before taking part in some specialised training sessions . Two of the girls tell us about their experiences on the day .
The netball development day held during the April school holidays was a truly fun and memorable event . It was a day that consisted of learning , participation , teamwork and building on our knowledge and experience . It was a great opportunity to get to know the other girls that took part on the day and it was rewarding building new friendships and ultimately having fun participating in an event in which we all share a common interest .
Watching the West Coast Fever train was one of the many highlights of the day . I can confidently say on behalf of the girls who attended , that it gave us an immense amount of motivation to pursue netball and always try our hardest . It has helped each and every one of us to bond closer as a team and it was overall an amazing experience .

During the April school holidays I attended a netball development day at Matthews Netball Centre .
Firstly we watched the West Coast Fever train , which was amazing . It showed me how much effort a professional athlete puts into their training and games . We had an amazing coach come and teach us some important skills to apply in our games . We all found something to take away from this session to improve our individual and team game play .
I think a lot of the girls really enjoyed doing a brief umpiring course after which some of us got to have a go at umpiring while the others did some game play on the outside courts .
The weather on the day was very nice and all up I , and many others , found the day to be very enjoyable .
