What is your greatest memory as a student of Guildford Grammar School ? What will never escape my mind was the Year 11 and 12 final Congo at the end of last year . It wasn ’ t that we were all singing together , it was just really emotional knowing that this was the last time we would be sitting in chapel together with the Year 12 ’ s . This is an activity that we take for granted , but at that moment it made me realise how special and unique it is to Guildford . Like many aspects of Guildford , the camaraderie between the students is what made the moment so special .
In one sentence , what does Guildford Grammar School mean to you ? It ’ s basically my second family and home .

Guildford hasn ’ t changed me into a new and better person , it is the people that

have helped me to grow , and the people that made me recognise and appreciate the talent , commitment , persistence and greatness of others . Guildford has taught me one very important lesson ; and that is to try everything and anything because , in the end , you regret most what you don ’ t try than what you do try .
What do you think you will miss the most after graduating ? The whole Guildford community ; my friends , people in my House , the passionate staff and most importantly the sport . I will really miss going to sport with my friends , whether it be getting up at 4.30am to start the day off , or finishing the school day , already mentally drained but heading down to the boat shed with my mates ready to get a good release of sport-induced endorphins . The best part is knowing that you are not the only one feeling exhausted ; we share a great sense of camaraderie .
What is your proudest moment as a student at Guildford Grammar School ? I am proud to be a part of the first group of girls to attend the Senior School . This really resonates with me because this pride I feel can be shared with every other girl who was in the same position as myself . I will forever be able to say that I was a part of the first co-ed cohort to graduate from Guildford Grammar School .
