AROUND THE SCHOOL
An event of this size and scale is not possible without the support of a large team of people .
The roaming Mariachi Band wandered through the crowd for an hour , with their contagious Mexican tunes warming up the audience in anticipation of the main event .
The main event started at 6.00pm with an Acknowledgement of Country by Mr Andrew Beck , followed by the opening number , “ Symphonic Reflections of Andrew
Lloyd Webber ” performed by the full Symphony Orchestra .
The students performed a total of twelve Broadway numbers including “ The Greatest Showman ”, “ I Dreamed a Dream ”, “ All that Jazz ”, “ Suddenly Seymour ”, “ Grease Mega Mix ” and the grand finale of “ I Still Call Australia Home ”.
The GGSO was accompanied by some of the School ’ s most talented vocalists : Cadmon Cocliff ( 12Fr ), Charlize Gosnell ( 12Fr ), Gemma Smith ( 11Wb ), Audrey Bell ( 12St ), Brian Haslam-Bowling ( 12He ), Ryan Buckeridge ( 9Wb ) and The Rolling Tones .
