SchoolTV wellbeing platform
now available for parents
Guildford Grammar School students and parents now have access to an online wellbeing resource called SchoolTV. SchoolTV is a
world first wellbeing platform featuring Dr Michael Carr-Gregg that addresses modern day realities faced by schools and parents
who increasingly need clear, relevant and fact-based information around raising safe, happy and resilient young people.
SchoolTV provides a wealth of interviews,
video clips, fact sheets, quizzes and
resources on topics of relevance to families.
Some of the topics currently available
include:
• Physical activity
• Diet and nutrition
• Surviving Year 12
• School transitions
• Exam jitters
• Internet addition
• Online pornography
• Social media and digital reputation
• Sexting
• Cyberbullying
• Drug and alcohol use
• Depression
• Anxiety
Each month a new topic is featured and we
will release details of this in the Bulletin, on
the GGS App and on Facebook.
Parents and students are now able to access
SchoolTV through the home page of the
GGS App, with the option to subscribe to
receive notifications when new content is
released. For those who do not have the
GGS App installed, it can be downloaded
via the Apple iTunes store or Google Play
