COMMUNITY
From your P & F
On receiving an email from Gillian to
advise me of this Forward article deadline, I
nearly fell off my chair to realise that we are
half way through another year. Perhaps this
is due to my son now catching the South
Perth school bus each day (great initiative!),
but the past six months seem to have
passed by so very quickly.
In the previous issue of the Forward I
acknowledged the $30,000 commitment
by your P&F towards a bike shed to be
used by both boarding and day students
in the Senior School. As you can see from
the photo, the bike shed has now been
completed.
In the Society’s March meeting, your P&F
committee worked through a number of
proposed expenditure opportunities and I
am very happy to announce the following:
• Over the past two years, Friends of
Senior School (FOSS) have given a
contribution to Senior School Houses
assisting with amenities which can
include kitchen items and furniture.
The P&F Committee has ratified a
further contribution of $1,000 per
house, to continue this great initiative.
• Headmaster, Mr Stephen Webber,
shared with the P&F Committee the
architectural 3D plans of the new
Nature Playground which will feature
in the main courtyard area of the new
Preparatory School development. The
Nature Play will be an outstanding
addition to this development and the
School was eager to increase their
investmen ЁѼ
