It has been a successful year of Drama productions and performances , despite the initial interruption of rehearsal processes due to COVID-19 .
The Year 12 Drama students tackled their full WACE drama examinations , prepared original solo productions , and scripted monologues which they approached with perseverance and a stoic resolve that belied their young years . We were fortunate to have four incredible performances throughout the year .
Antigone We were very lucky to see the Year 12 Drama students present a contemporary interpretation of Antigone by Sophocles , directed by Miles Openshaw just two weeks prior to the official opening of the performance and the School going into shut-down . All students demonstrated a committed professional approach , lifting their performance skills and attention to detail to present an arresting interpretation of this dramatic Greek tragedy .
