Constantine ' Con ' Michael
Woodbridge House 1966-1970
Con played first-class cricket for Western Australia , including taking 3 / 36 when he opened the bowling against the West Indies , the best team in the world at the time . He has received a number of National and State engineering awards over the years , culminating in 2019 with Con reaching Engineering Executive status for his many revolutionary telecommunications designs , and becoming the Australian Government ’ s iAward national winner in 2017 . He received the Engineering Executive ( EngExec ) post nominal which recognises eminent individuals in leadership and management roles . The exclusive status immediately communicates the well-earned prestige of leaders at the highest tier of their industry . He was the first West Australian to be awarded the Engineers Australia Neville Thiele award for outstanding achievement - the most coveted award in his field . He is currently working with members of the Parliament of Australia in Hon . Ken Wyatt , Minister for Indigenous Australians , and Hon . Melissa Price , Minister for Defence Industry and Minister for Science and Technology , to create better outcomes for Indigenous Australians by increasing their Digital Inclusion in very remote communities .
Thomas Millar � St George ’ s House 1938-1940
Professional Fellow in International Relations , A . N . UHe was the founder of the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at the Australian National University , and the main preserver of another , which is now called the Sir Robert Menzies Centre for Australian Studies in the University of London . He also served as Director of the Australian Institute of International Affairs from 1969 to 1976 , helped found Radford College , spent periods as Academic-in-Residence at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade , chaired a committee of enquiry into Australian Army Reserves , and was on the Councils of the International Institute of Strategic Studies and the Royal Institute of International Affairs . Tom wrote nine books , of which Australia in Peace and War ( 1978 ) was probably the most influential .

Jamie ’ s works are represented in galleries around Australia and Stormie ’ s private and public commissions light up streetscapes across the globe from Perth to the UK , USA , Europe and Asia . He has been invited to participate in some of the world ’ s most prestigious street art festivals and completed countless private and public art commissions . Most recently he was invited to create the first sanctioned street art mural as part of the prestigious Florence Biennale .
Thomas Moody
Woodbridge House 1979-1983
Former Australian and State Cricketer , played for Australia from 1987-99 , playing in 8 Test Matches and 76 One Day Internationals , which included 3 World Cups and 2 finals ( 1987 , 1999 ). Tom and Steve Waugh became the first two Australians to win two World Cups . Over his career , Tom scored more than 21,000 runs in first class cricket and was awarded Wisen Cricketer of the Year in 2000 . Former Coach of Sri Lanka and the Western Warriors ( WA Cricket Team ). He has been active with Cricket commentary for both television and radio both nationally and internationally since his playing career . Tom has coached many other overseas teams including the Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2013-19 Indian Premier League ( IPL ). Recently he was appointed the first Director of Cricket of Sri Lanka cricket and now holds a similar role with Sunrisers Hyderabad . Selected as the 2001 Old Guildfordian of the Year .
Richard Moore � Prep 1942-1945
A Major and Military Knight of Windsor , who was appointed a Member of the Royal Victorian Order ( MVO ) in the 2015 Queen ' s Birthday Honours list . It is an Imperial award that is entirely within the Queen ' s personal gifts , for services to the Crown , with no political or any other influence .
Michael Morcombe
School House 1951-1953
A Member ( AM ) in the General Division of the Order of Australia for significant service to conservation and the environment in the fields of natural history and ornithology as a photographer , illustrator , and author .
Christopher Munn
Woodbridge House 1975-1979
Christopher has had a diplomatic career spanning over 33 years with Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade . He held long-term postings in Jakarta ( 1988-91 ), Honiara ( 1993-95 ), Madrid ( 1995-99 ), Mexico City ( 2002-2005 ) and Pretoria ( 2012- 2015 ). In Pretoria he served as Deputy High Commissioner and Acting High Commissioner . He also had short-term missions ( up to a year ) in Lima ( 2008 ), Port of Spain ( 2009 ), Nairobi ( various from 2008-2010 ), Nauru ( 2018 ), Tuvalu ( 2019 ) and Rarotonga , Cook Islands ( 2020 ). He served Australia loyally and worked hard to advance the country ’ s various policy interests as well as providing assistance and advice to many Australians . Chris led strong and successful teams and gave back to those people who worked for him by helping them on to bigger and better things . He used his Bahasa Indonesia ( originally learnt at Guildford Grammar School ) on posting to Jakarta and later as Director of the Australia-Indonesia Institute . He learnt Spanish and had two long-term Spanish-speaking postings . He finished his career with responsibility for New Zealand and Pacific issues .
