a
trillion
trees
Guildford Grammar Preparatory School
was proud to participate in the Trillion
Trees Program during Term 3 in an effort to
continue to rehabilitate our environment.
The Program aims to help children
understand the importance of our
environment and the need to sustain it.
This project provided all Preparatory
School students with the opportunity to
plant a seedling on our campus on Friday
6 September. Students visited various
sites around the School with their buddy
classes, gum boots and trowels in hand and
enthusiastically planted a diverse range of
species. With a little love, care and good
luck, students will be able to see the trees
they planted thrive over the coming years.
It was a wonderful activity that again
highlighted how lucky we are to have such
an expansive campus with majestic trees and
natural environments.
