SENIOR SCHOOL
excellence in
titrations
With over 25 students choosing titrations as a Friday afternoon activity, we have enjoyed another successful year.
This year we entered our first co-ed team
into the Titration Stakes competition. With
the help of Mrs Siza Macdonald and
Miss Gemma Haddleton we were able to
develop our titration skills over the course of
Terms 1, 2 and 3 and achieve success in the
competition placings.
The state competition was held at Curtin
University on the evening of Tuesday 25
June. Guildford Grammar School entered
two teams on the evening (there were
limited places this year and all schools were
only allowed two teams). The two teams

precise concentration of a given solution.

At the time of the
competition we
were confident of a
good outcome as we
had been tirelessly
practising to hone
our skills.
