Walk the Wall 2017 On Saturday 16 September, the Languages Faculty organised a Guildford Grammar School team to take part in the 2017 Walk the Wall event. Walk the Wall is a global movement that comes together throughout the year to raise money to care for many abandoned and disabled children in China, and provide families with disabled children the support they need so that abandonment isn’t their only option. The Guildford Grammar School Walk the Wall set off from the tennis courts at the school’s main entrance, passing through the campus and along Great Eastern Highway to Third Avenue towards the Swan River, continuing through the Woodbridge Parkrun route. The route was reversed for the walk back to the school, resulting in a walk of around 11km. The Languages Faculty would like to thank everyone who was involved in raising this amount, particularly the main organizer Ms Lina Morien, Language staff, Mr Richie Longson and all the walkers who joined us on the day. Mr James Cheah Head of Languages Faculty Over 50 students and staff took part in the event and raised a total of $2510. 17
