FROM THE HEADMASTER
Research is clear that
diversity is a driver
for better business
outcomes, not only
ethically desirable.
intelligence, creativity, empathy, critical
thinking, collaboration and adaptability
are all high on employers’ wish lists. Perth
alone now has over 25 companies who
have appointed Diversity Managers, whose
aim is to ensure breadth of diversity in
their workforce. Why? Research is clear
that diversity is a driver for better business
outcomes, not only ethically desirable.
Our students will greatly benefit in the years
ahead from the increased diversity of having
male and female students in the School and
they will be better prepared for the dynamic
world that awaits them beyond the school
gates, as they enter Tertiary Education and
the workforce.
As we look ahead we do so full of
confidence, with staff committed and
excited about the new direction, over 50
girls enrolled to enter the Senior School in
2018, enquiries at record levels, past Chairs
of Council, OGA Presidents, Foundation
Presidents and Headmasters strongly
supporting the move, and present and
future parents valuing the fact that now
their daughters as well as their sons can
experience all that the School has to offer.
