COMMUNITY From your P & F I want to acknowledge the contribution of the 2015 Guildford Grammar School Parents and Friends’ Society Management Committee. The Committee members are: Vice President, Naomi Evans; Secretary, Peta Barnes; Treasurer, Gavin Shearing; School Council Representative, Brian Adams; Preparatory School Representatives, Aaron Harding and Renae Farmer; Senior School Representatives, Matthew Johnsen and Jennifer Handz; Arts Representative, Katherine Stevens; Sports Representative, Cliff White; President of FOPS, Sheri-Lee Knoop-Bender; and President of FOSS, Ruth Warden. combined with a robust display of student work from both the Senior and Preparatory schools. Katherine also worked tirelessly assisting with this year’s Senior School production of Les Misérables as well as Music Week. Katherine’s passion and enthusiasm for the Arts is amazing and we are so very fortunate to have someone so dedicated in this role. These dedicated parents consistently give their time and energy working to represent the broader community to the School, as well as representing the values and objectives of the School to the community. Treasurer, Gavin Shearing and P&F Preparatory School Representative, Renae Farmer have continued the Society‘s administration work. Tasked with the review of the Society’s financial practices, both Gavin and Renae provided their professional guidance to assist the School and the FOPS Committee this year. This resulted in the consolidation of banking and the refinement of financial practices between the School and the Society. I recently attended the Art Exhibition and would like to congratulate the School and P&F Arts Representative Katherine Stevens on another outstanding selection of work, As a result of this work, the final amended Constitution of the Society was lodged with the Department of Commerce, and was officially accepted on 8 July 20
