FUCI AND THE II VATICAN COUNCIL

Our 61st National Congress (“Tantum aurora est”. 50 years ago, 50
years later: Church, Council, Contemporaneity) was held in Urbino
from Wednesday 25 to Saturday 28 of April and it was organized in
collaboration with the local group. It saw the participation of more
than 200 students from all over Italy.
Our local groups and regional assemblies have developed thematic
trails about the historical context of those years and about the significance of the Vatican Council for the Church and the society of
that time. Furthermore, a lot of our university groups have studied
the conciliar Constitutions and a few other official documents of
the Council to let university students know them.
