Forum for Nordic Dermato-Venereology is a publication for the dermato-venereo logists in Denmark , Finland , Iceland , Norway and Sweden . It is published by Society for Publication of Acta Dermato-Venereologica .
Forum for Nordic Dermato-Venereology was founded in 1996 by Professor Lennart Juhlin , Uppsala , Sweden .
This journal aims to cover all interests of the Nordic dermato-venereologists , to spread information and news and act as the natural way of communication among the Nordic dermato-venereologists .
Language : English .
Submission : To submit your manuscript , please contact your Country Editor ( see next page ). Figures and photographs should be sent in minimum 300 dpi .
Distribution : The distribution covers all dermato-venereologists in the Nordic countries as well as residents abroad , still members of one of the Nordic dermatological societies . The journal is published in February , May , September and November .

In this issue of Forum I welcome Kristian Kofoed as a new regional editor from Denmark , a task he has taken over from Robert Gniadecki who has served Forum for many years . I am most grateful for all efforts given by Robert and wish him the best of luck during his stay in Canada . Kristian Kofoed starts his editorial work in this issue by informing us all about some worrying facts regarding the development of venereological diseases in Denmark . Instead of steadily diminishing , the prevalence of STI is actually increasing in some areas ( p . 87 – 88 ).
The Editor-in-Chief of Acta Dermato-Venereologica ( Professor Anders Vahlquist ) has selected 20 out of nearly 250 articles published in Acta Dermato-Venereologica during 2016 . On page 89 – 93 a short commentary on each of the 20 papers from 5 different research areas is presented .
On page 99 – 102 , you will find some information regarding NDA : 1 ) A letter from the General Secretary , and 2 ) Information regarding a forthcoming NDA course on Virtual Dermatopathology .
From an educational point of view you will hopefully find a case report on Recurrent UVA Photosensitive Erythema Multiforme as well as a quiz on how to Diagnose a Skin Lesion by Dermoscopy of interest .
The Finnish Dermatological Society has become 100 years . Read about their celebrations on page 107 – 109 .
Several dissertations and meeting reports are also presented .
Last , but not least , I want to inform you about all news that has been implemented in Acta Dermato-Venereologica . Read more on page 113 .
