HERE WE GO TIGERS! 2015 DETROIT NORTH WITH THE TIGERS
Let’s end the summer with some great major
league baseball action in Detroit, Michigan—
supporting our Detroit Tigers as they take on the
Kansas City Royals in COMERICA PARK September
18-20, 2015! The Lakeland Area Chamber of
Commerce and the City of Lakeland invite you to
be a member of our annual Tiger trip. Our group
will enjoy luxury accommodations within walking
distance to the park and two games between
the Tigers and the Royals at Comerica Park—an
attraction all to itself. Friday night we’ll enjoy a
reception before the game, then head to great
seats in the extraordinary open air Comerica Park.
Saturday—you may explore the NEW Detroit Park in
preparation for the game Saturday evening in one
of the sensational hospitality suites! We will all
head home Sunday having enjoyed some exciting
baseball action!
A major league spring training location is
an essential part of the business of big league
baseball—bringing more than $40 million annually
in economic impact to our area. The Detroit Tigers
organization is a major component behind the
BEST March we have had on record for tourism
sales in Polk County. With the renovation of Joker
Marchant Stadium, we plan to increase those
records in years to come. Additionally, we are
extremely fortunate to have year round baseball
