With thousands of veterans flooding the workforce, the Chamber
partners with veteran-focused organizations to help veterans
transition from military to civilian life. The Chamber’s Workforce
Development staff is researching all things veteran and identifying
what organizations are doing to shore up collaborative information
for Fort Worth businesses and workforce entities.

recruit engineers nationally. A four-year U.S. Department of Labor grant to Workforce
Solutions for Tarrant County underwrites on-the-job training for aerospace, defense,
manufacturing and other companies.

education, certification and Human Resources information. The inaugural Job Links
EXCELerator Business of the Year Award 2013 was presented to AT&T.

A top priority at the Fort Worth Chamber is the brokering of value-added relationships between business and
education to leverage the availability of human resources for business. Both students and employers benefit from
Chamber workforce programs that collaborate with business, education and community partners to shape the
future workforce by nurturing students for college and career readiness.
