JFK commemorative breakfast
On Nov. 22, the Chamber took the lead in telling the world a Fort Worth story long
overshadowed by events surrounding President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.
The 50th anniversary of that tragedy was marked here with a JFK commemorative
Chamber breakfast. It reprised the sold-out Fort Worth Chamber breakfast held at the
Texas Hotel downtown for President and Jacqueline Kennedy on the morning of
Nov. 22, 1963.
That overlooked perspective was shared worldwide as the Chamber worked with
regional, national and international news media covering the event. The Chamber
