The Lancaster Ave. U.S. Post Office was named to endangered places list.
R.I., has cut about 700 jobs since early
2013.
In late April, Bell announced that
CareFlite is now using four Bell 407GX
helicopters for transports. These aircraft
will fly ill or injured patients to critical
care facilities. One will be based out of
Granbury Municipal Airport while the
others will originate from Texas Health

Express Scripts cuts 418 jobs,
pharmacy in Fort Worth
St. Louis-based Express Scripts Inc. is
cutting 1,890 jobs around the country,
including 418 in Fort Worth and 148 in
Dallas, according to the Texas Workforce Commission.
According to news reports, Express
Scripts recently reported a weak first
quarter and lost one of its largest clients, UnitedHealth Group.
Express Scripts, the nation’s largest
pharmacy benefits manager, will close
a front-end pharmacy in Fort Worth at
15001 Trinity Blvd. and a call center in
Irving.

Lancaster Post Office named
to endangered places list
Several prominent commercial
buildings, residential neighborhoods
surrounding Texas Christian University
and the city’s own preservation program have been added to Historic Fort
Worth Inc.’s 2014 list of the city’s “Most
Endangered Places.”
The nonprofit organization announced its annual endangered list
during a news conference May 6 at the
historic 1904 Thistle Hill cattle baron
mansion.
The list of at-risk properties includes:
the U.S. Post Office Building at 251 W.
Lancaster Ave.; the 1920 Ellis Pecan
Building at 1012 N. Main St.; Chase
Court Gates and Medians, built in
1906 at 1700 Hemphill St.; World War
