Uniquely positioned in the
heart of St. Louis, Forsyth
celebrates both its place in
an historical neighborhood
with its six repurposed,
century homes and
expansive playgrounds and
its urban position. Just
minutes from major
universities, history and art
museums, the zoo and one
of the largest city parks in the
country, the School takes full
advantage of the resources.
Classes walk to Washington
University’s Edison Theater
for performances, science
classes study bio-diversity
and wildlife in Forest Park
and the whole school
recently marched to Graham
Chapel to recognize Martin
Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, a
community gathering that
celebrated themes of peace,
justice and respect. St. Louis
itself boasts many nationally
recognized civic institutions
from the Cardinals and Blues
to Washington University
School of Medicine to
Fortune 500 companies, all
while maintaining its friendly,
Midwestern feel. Further, its
engaged, active
citizens represent a range

One recent sixth grader
