Keele’ s first ever Giving Day | 7
• Set a challenge: Your gifts are worth even more in the run-up to our Giving Day as they encourage others to give too. If you are interested in making a larger gift, e. g. £ 1000, you could encourage others to give too by setting an accompanying challenge. For example:
•“ If 30 first-time donors make a gift to Keele’ s Together Fund, I’ ll give £ 1000”
•“ If 20 alumni from the 1960s make a gift, I’ ll donate £ 2000”
If you are interested in creating a Giving Day challenge, please email the team on alumni. hq @ keele. ac. uk.
• Take part in our photo challenge: We’ re asking all alumni to submit their favourite photo from their time at Keele, or their favourite written memory( less than 100 words) – simply email them to alumni. hq @ keele. ac. uk. The competition is live from 1 January 2026. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kevin Shakesheff, will choose his favourite on the Giving Day and the winner will receive a Potteries-made Keele mug in the post.
• Follow us on social media: Search for the hashtag # KeeleGivingDay and track progress of the Giving Day over the 36 hours on 3-4 March! We’ ll be sending more emails than usual during this period so please ensure we have the best email address to reach you on.
However you choose to get involved, please join us – and Keele alumni across the globe – on 3 and 4 March for Keele’ s first ever Giving Day!
