Students from 70 % of our programmes can select pathways which explicitly link to the UN ’ s Sustainable Development Goals
Equally important to us is ensuring that our own students graduate from Keele with a ‘ sustainability lens ’ through which to make decisions in their personal and professional lives . We have been working since 2012 to ensure that sustainability is embedded in every programme , and now , through our Global Challenges Pathways ( GCPs ), provide the opportunity for students from 70 % of our programmes to select one of six pathways ( including one on Climate Change and Sustainability ) which all explicitly link to the United Nations ’ Sustainable Development Goals . The GCPs allow students to follow their chosen pathway through their first , second and third year , and are welcomed by students for the opportunity to learn alongside their peers who are studying different programmes .
We are excited to continue driving sustainability action beyond just our own borders - through our teaching , research , operations , partnerships and engagement .
If you are interested in learning more about any of these activities , there is lots more information on our web pages .
