Keele University ’ s Art Collection has always been committed to engagement . A good proportion of its art collection is shared on ArtUK , an online platform for UK public collections . ArtsKeele regularly organises exhibitions , displays , and events , both on campus and in external venues , to share its treasures with a wider audience , forging new relationships and raising the profile of local emerging and established artists . In 2024 , The Mill Gates by L . S Lowry will go on display at the Bowes Museum as part of the exhibition Kith and Kinship : Cornish and Lowry .
A selection of items from the wider collection will also go on display at the Brampton Museum in Newcastle-under-Lyme from April , as part of the University ’ s 75th anniversary celebrations .
Today , Keele University ’ s Art Collection continues to evolve , adapt , and grow , remaining a vital resource for artistic , academic and cultural endeavours at Keele University and beyond .
