“ I think the students like it because I ’ m more relatable to what they ’ re experiencing . I ’ m aware of new developments and can understand the demands students might be facing when they ’ re out on clinical practice . Being from Staffordshire myself , it is good to be able to help people in my local community and give something back . You do get a sense of achievement at the end of the day which is nice .”
As we look forward to our 75th anniversary next year , our mission remains the same as it was back in 1949 – to support the communities in North Staffordshire and beyond .
