Three Counties Open Art 2023
Burslem School of Art | 28 July – 26 August
This year ’ s ‘ Three Counties Open Art ’ exhibition will take place again at the stunning Burslem School of Art building . The exhibition includes work from the following categories : Digital Art , Drawing , Painting , Photography , Printmaking , Sculpture and Textiles .
In response to the 2023 call-out , over 260 artists located in Staffordshire , Cheshire and Shropshire submitted work , with around 80 to 100 pieces selected for the show . Over 40 % of entries this year are from artists who have not submitted to the show or been successful in their submission previously , so it promises to be a fresh and exciting exhibition .
During the pandemic , a digital version of the exhibition was hosted to enable it to continue . This digital strand now continues as a supplement to the in-person show for people who are unable to visit in person . Artwork from the exhibition is for sale at the show and via an online shop through Barewall Gallery .
