SCHOLARSHIPS
The awards were made to:
• Heather who has always had a part-time job and who will now be
able to reduce her hours in order to concentrate more on her studies
• Christian who may learn to drive to reduce his dependancy on his
family for transportation
• George who is studying Mathematics and Astrophysics and will
put his award towards buying a new telescope
We very much hope that Matt Woods will be able to meet the Heather,
Christian and George on his next trip to the UK so that
they can thank him in person.
He said “It means a lot to me to know that these awards will make
a real difference to these worthy winners and that they’ve been
gratefully received”.
